Descriptor: Engaging in Language and Culture: China is an introductory course to Chinese language and culture. The course consists of 20 lessons of around 30 minutes duration and is designed to be delivered using the interactive whiteboard. It is ideal for teachers who have no Mandarin language skills and provides links to many outside resources for further lesson plan development. Originally targeted at Years 5 and 6, resources within this course can be adapted to suit other year levels. SOSE, LANGUAGE and STUDIES OF ASIA outcomes are all present in the links to the NTCF.
