What Will You Learn?

In Stage 1 Economics, students will learn to:

  • Communicate effectively by constructing arguments using economic principles and models.
  • Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to explain economic activity.
  • Think critically about the intended and unintended consequences of economic decisions.

What Do You Need?

  • Access to a computer with the internet is essential for research and completing assessments.
  • No specific prior learning in Economics is required, but you will need strong written and oral communication and numeracy skills to understand economic texts and analyse and interpret data.
