What will you learn?

In this course we will explore the concepts of health (health literacy, health determinants, social equity and health promotion) within individual, local and global contexts. You will learn how to make informed decisions regarding health and wellbeing and have opportunities to make responsible choices and decisions in an ever changing world. 

Who is this course for?

This course is for students who wish to:

  • Develop knowledge of health and wellbeing concepts
  • Challenge their understanding of health and wellbeing in the 21st century.
  • Promote and improve sustainable outcomes for individuals, communities and global society.

  • Access to a computer and the internet
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
