What Will You Learn?

This course will explore concepts of industry and work, the relationships between work-related issues and practices in workplaces, the roles of individuals, government legislation and policies, unions, and employer groups in work-related and workplace issues, cultures, and/or environments locally, nationally, and/or globally.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is suitable for students already engaged with a workplace, who are also aiming for an ATAR.

Non-ATAR pathway students are encouraged to undertake Stage 2 Workplace Practices Connections.

There are restrictions around students undertaking VET Cert III for ATAR credits for assessment in this subject. Please contact the subject teacher for more information.

What Do You Need?

The ability to engage in 30-60 hours of work or work-related activities to fulfil the requirements of the course.

Sound literacy and research skills. Successful completion of Stage 1 Workplace Practices, English or Humanities subjects at a C or better is highly recommended.
