What will you learn?

In this course, you will learn how to manually control a digital camera. You will complete a Visual study which includes skills in exposure, composition and elements of design. You will also research a contemporary photographer's work and write an analysis of one of their photographs. In the folio task you will learn to develop an idea through experimentation to create a final work or series of photographs. You will also develop a folio that support this final work.

Who is this course for?

This course is for students who want to:

  • Develop skills in Photography.
  • Engage in in-depth analysis and critique of photographer artworks.
  • Create and present a final artwork supported by a detailed folio.

What do you need?

  • Basic research skills for writing about art.
  • Willingness to learn and practice photography skills.
  • You will receive a dispatch for this course.
