What will you learn?
In this course, you will explore the principles of designing for tropical climates, develop hand-drawing skills, and learn to create CAD (3D Modelling) designs using a web-based software. You will then apply these skills to create a unique project that addresses a climate-specific design challenge.
Who is this course for?
This course is for students who want to:
- Learn more about design and the design process.
- Develop hand-drawing techniques (such as floorplans).
- Explore a web-based CAD software to create detailed designs.
- Respond to a design brief to produce a climate-specific project.
What do you need?
- Basic drawing supplies to get started (pencils, paper, etc.). A dispatch will be sent out for this course to assist you with completing these activities).
- Access to the internet to use a web-based CAD software - You will learn how to create your own free account.
