Descriptor: The purpose of this module is to identify what constitutes quality assessment tasks in science and the importance of using a variety of assessment techniques within the three assessment approaches. The course will identify and overcome the assessment challenges for science; develop assessment ideas and techniques for diagnostic, formative and summative assessment in science and to identify characteristics of high quality assessment programs and strategies in science.
